Meet The Staff

Mary – Practice Administrator

Mary started working with Dr. Schwartz in 1985 as a chairside dental assistant and has worked her way up to her current position as practice administrator. She is certified with the Dental Assisting National Board and a Lifetime Member of the American Dental Assistants Association. Her favorite thing about working at Colonial Dental Associates are the people, she has known some of the patients so long they are now like family. When not in the office, Mary enjoys being active, attending cultural events, and spending time with her own family and friends.


Yulia – Patient Care Coordinator

Yulia joined the Colonial Dental team in November 2023, with three and a half years of experience in the healthcare field.  Yulia speaks fluent Russian and Mandarin. In her free time, Yulia enjoys travel, reading books, doing cross stitch, watching TV, and playing with her cats.


Keila – Patient Care Coordinator

Keila joined the Colonial Dental team in November of 2021. She has been a positive, upbeat addition to our payment desk, and is fluent in Spanish she learned in her native Honduras. Keila enjoys music and going for long walks in her free time.


Deanna – Dental Assistant

Deanna received her Registered Dental Assistant training at the Illinois School of Health Careers in 2006, and brings her beautiful smile and upbeat attitude to our clinical staff.  It is incredibly rewarding for Deanna to witness the joy on a patient’s face when they see their newly improved smile. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her son, shopping and walks with her 4-legged children.


Polina – Dental Assistant

Polina brings four years of chairside dental assisting experience to Colonial Dental, with two of those years in Oral Surgery.  In addition to English, Polina speaks Russian and Ukranian.  In her free time, Polina enjoys travel, hiking and a vast variety of new and exciting experiences.


Miriam – Registered Dental Hygienist

Miriam loves to educate patients on improving their oral hygiene and seeing their smiles light up when they take her advice to heart. She received her degree from the University of Illinois – Dental Hygiene Program. When not at work Miriam likes to garden and watch the flowers grow.

Ann Marie – Registered Dental Hygienist

Ann Marie earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist from Harper College in 2001. She and her husband both grew up on the same street in Elk Grove Village and have remained residents of the village, raising two children, two dogs and two cats there!

Paulette – Registered Dental Hygienist

Paulette graduated from Harper College with her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1985.  She focuses on providing the best quality of care along with confidence, trust and reassurance that every patient is comfortable and happy with her extensive experience.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
